Hey y’all!
My name is Kailee (she/her), and I’m a queer singer, songwriter, and voice teacher who specializes in teaching popular styles of music and gender-affirming speech and singing!
My studio is all about becoming empowered by, knowledgeable about, and connected to the voice.
Singers, speakers, audiences, and artists are whole humans, with individual values and physical, mental, and emotional experiences. It is important to me to honor that individuality by taking time to listen and learn about who a person is, not just what they sound like. In my experience, centering student values and lived experiences cultivates an environment where confidence, understanding, and belonging can flourish.

Kailee has been teaching for over eight years, and loves working with all kinds of singers! Her students have included career vocalists, Broadway-bound performers, karaoke enthusiasts, and shower concert headliners!
Kailee specializes in teaching Musical Theater and CCM styles of singing, which includes, but isn't limited to genres like Pop, Rock, Jazz, Folk, and Metal. No matter the genre, Kailee is dedicated to helping singers feel empowered by, knowledgeable about, and connected to their voice.

Gender-affirming voice care is vital for many transgender and nonbinary folks. It helps align their voice with their gender identity, fostering greater self-confidence and emotional well-being. Voice plays a crucial role in how we express ourselves and how others perceive us, making it an important part of gender expression.
Kailee has years of experience teaching gender affirming voice care. She specializes in voice feminization, masculinization, and transgender singing voices.
Using methods out of Liz Jackson-Hearn’s One Weird Trick: A User’s Guide to Transgender Voice, speakers can expect to gradually change their vocal habits and develop a voice that feels authentic to them, reducing gender dysphoria and empowering them to navigate social interactions with more comfort and ease.
